Lost Voice of Mother Nature

Thank you but I don’t need your opinion
For which I didn’t ask
I don’t need your instruction

Just to lean on your arm
A parent is tired
But they’re doing their best
And that best can be made better
If you just help them to rest

We’re told to do it alone
And force our children to be independent
But it’s all wired up wrong
And no one questions convention

Independence is a goal that’s within us
From when we are born
But It comes from frequent support and comfort
Not separation and being withdrawn

If you listen to Mother Nature, she makes the most beautiful sound
“In uplifting one another, true strength can be found”
